Keel Cooling

Keel Cooling is a well-proven method of water-cooling the condenser without pumping water into the vessel and over the side. The benefits being that having no pump reduces the amperage draw and the days of blocked strainers or failed pumps are no more. The Frigomatic Keel Cooled system has been leading the market for 8 years.

Pump Cooling

Pump water-cooled is the conventional way to pass water over the cupro-nickel condenser and then over the side. This system can still favoured in some applications for instance multiple systems, steel and aluminium hull vessels and were the system is being installed without lifting.
